I recently read about the IndieWeb (which is around quite some time!). It uses different open formats and protocols to interconnect content producers and consumers in an automated fashion.
For example, think of having your next FlatPress blog post being shown in the timeline of your followers on the Fediverse, such as Mastodon, Pixelfed, or even Threads.
With this, you'd have full control over your blog and its content - as you do now - but without having to forego the networking opportunities of the well-known proprietary social networks.
Sounds kinda cool to me, maybe we can explore this some time and learn how to have FlatPress IndieWeb-connectible.
