As the title suggests:
When I try to use the package siunitx, which is a package to display the SI units of physics (in my case I'd like to display the decibel sign) it gives the following error: "command \unit already defined" pointing to the fact that the \unit command included in the Siunitx package can also be found in the chronology.sty file.
Any ideas on how to remedy to the issue?
Thanks a bunch

As a workaround, I'd try to do \let\unit\relax before loading the package. It often works for me in these cases, but of course there's a chance that there are unwanted consequences, I don't know what the chronology package does, I'll try to investigate.
