I have been experiencing some glitching in the video feed at 640 x 480 at 60fps. Running 10.10.2 it happens about once every second. I tried about x3 cameras, different USB ports, restarted - etc. i used the v1.0 app and it worked fine - only glitching on the v2.0

I can submit a video of this is if the description is unclear.

Although the glitching was real it is now gone…

In addition I tried this on 3 other computers and there are no problems.

I am not sure what caused it but it was real and persisted between power cycling and other rebooting measures on my main machine. I made sure to clean out the ports for dust and other debris.

If there are any ideas as to what might have caused this I am open to try to repeat them. I also will advise if it returns and under what circumstances.

Thank you for the support.

I noticed that there was no glitching in anything lower than 60 fps for 640 x 480

I also noticed that there was no glitching if using 320 x 240 @ 60 fps

I am leaving this open, I could not replicate it reliably, (I could see it on my old mac mini for a few frames after an hour). I think it is related to system resources. There was a significant re-structuring that improved performance a lot, lets see if anyone else sees this persist.

This glitching was likely due to a bug that was fixed in ofxPS3EyeGrabber in the last year. It shouldn't be an issue anymore if the new version of ofxPS3EyeGrabber is used.

This should be a better version, if you are still using it let me know the results.
