the layers ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-5g, ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-gsm, ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-umts, ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-lte will be removed from chsdi services with the release of March 13th 2024.
We use the BAKOM "antennenstandorte" layers as WMS, like this:
Hi Nicola,
I'm copy/pasting what we answered on the Google Groups here too :
The reason behind the decommission announcement of these datasets is that these data will be unified in one single (new) publication layer in *geo.admin.ch from March 13th on. This is currently work-in-progress and in charge by the BAKOM as data owner currently. We do not have all the technical details at the moment, but this will be clarified within the next few weeks. What's clear for now:
The new layer will again be available via the REST API (api3.geo.admin.ch), e.g. identify
There will still be a geoJSON download, but via a new URL and new geoJSON structure over our STAC API
Hi
On January 31st 2024 you wrote:

https://wms.geo.admin.ch/?LAYERS=ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-lte&TRANSPARENT=true&SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.1.1&REQUEST=GetMap&STYLES=&FORMAT=image%2Fpng&SRS=EPSG%3A2056&BBOX=2485071.58,1075346.31,2613071.58,1203346.31&WIDTH=256&HEIGHT=256
We also allow users to display further information on given coordinates:
https://api3.geo.admin.ch/rest/services/ech/MapServer/identify?geometry=2655405.76%2C1201395.48%2C2685405.76%2C1231395.48&geometryFormat=geojson&geometryType=esriGeometryEnvelope&imageDisplay=1920%2C852%2C96&layers=all%3Ach.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-lte&mapExtent=2420000.0399123235%2C1349999.9457012624%2C2900000.040810823%2C1029999.945154717&tolerance=0&returnGeometry=true&sr=2056
This does not work anymore since May 2019, which was reported by me here: #3193
There was no answer from your side on my last message in this issue, regarding on how to access the information via different means (GeoJSON).
Will the GeoJSON be still provided after March 13th? Eg.:
https://data.geo.admin.ch/ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-5g/data/ch.bakom.mobil-antennenstandorte-5g_de.json
Also, what's the reason behind the removal?
Which ways are there to get these data sets after March 13th? Are there alternatives?
Thanks & best regards
Nicola
