yahoo mail plugin not loading email after authentication

• OS: Manjaro Linux

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to 'Add apps and extensions'
2. Click on 'Yahoo Email'
3. Add a new instance of Yahoo Email
4. Authenticate
5. Yahoo mail never manages to load completely - so the screen is left completely blank

Screenshots
It would just be a blank white screen, with the yahoo plugin icon in the side bar.
Other plugins at least say 'please wait while we load ...', but yahoo is completely silent.
