Harbor Operator needs new maintainers! #1083
Comments
Hey @OrlinVasilev it'll be pleasure to support and contribute harbor operator project. It is great project that needs to keep going, I am super ready to work on it. |
Are you using Harbor and the Harbor Operator yourself? It's going to be tough if you are not using it. |
Hey @Vad1mo I have used harbor and the Harbor Operator previously in a project but that not the major one. I just need to get more familiar with the architecture and codebase of the Harbor-Operator. |
I would love to contribute to this too. Wondering if you have an onboarding process? We are currently using a fork, but still getting onboarded from current core contributor(s) will help. |
I am also interested in this. We're actively using our fork of this project, and have spent a decent amount of time in the codebase. |
Hello all interested participants, let's kick off the conversation and todo. |
Thrilled to see that this project is still being actively maintained! |
Hello! Also intrested in, it'll be pleasure to support and contribute to this operator. |
So far a few people in offered to help. We haven't seen any contributions. |
@Vad1mo Dropped this in another thread, but similar question here: #1071 (comment) I think contributions is only one part of the puzzle here. How do you grow the pool of folks who can review, merge, etc. so that this isn't just a larger pool of pull requests waiting for the limited amount of resources that the project has? Happy to get involved here, just trying to find the best way to do that without just adding more work to the pile. |
Hello community,
we the maintainers team we are struggling to keep up with all the work here so we are looking for new maintainers.
In case nobody wants to continue the effort we will have to archive the sub-project until someone wants to take over and continue.
Please share your thoughts here
We will be at KubeCon in Paris next week to discuss that!
