After downloading Kaspersky, I noticed a shortcut in my Google Chrome shortcuts linked to the address 127.0.0.1:49253.

Today, while checking my history, I saw an action related to this shortcut.

These shortcuts weren't there before I downloaded Kaspersky.

Could this be an extension used by Kaspersky?

Found this on the Internet about the topic which is fairly close to a meaningful explanation.

Still, I want to ask what is that thing? A virus and Kaspersky is fighting for, or as the article stated programs like Kaspersky uses this localhost to test particular actions on my computer without sending or receiving any data.

Thanks for the answers that will come under that question and sorry if I opened the discussion in the wrong category.
