Decentralized Identity Foundation has updates for BBS Signatures published as draft https://identity.foundation/bbs-signature/draft-irtf-cfrg-bbs-signatures.html

Key updates:

binding of signature to "domain"
signature is deterministic
change of suggested hash functions
generators are not defined by pubkey

Note: this is not backward-compatible set of updates
