We want to be able to shut off the gene lookup feature using the Harmonizome for datasets where it is not appropriate.

We should have an option passed to Clustergrammer-GL (and Clustergrammer2 should pass to Clustergrammer-GL) that says no Hzome lookup.

I can imagine when you work with a supported organism, the gene-look up is quite nice. The idea is great.
This begs the question could that functionality be linked to one's own database (say a downloaded gtf-file), or some other kind of file that links the names with interesting information (think of prep-method, grow conditions of a sample represented by the label). In this way, one could keep things close when scanning a dataset.
It would make clustergrammer part of a nice kind of interacting lab-book that speeds up discussion with others (not needing to look up all these bits and have them at hand to consult when needed)
