The feature described here doesn't seem to work: http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Repeat_last_change

Has anyone managed to get this working?

The specific case in which I can't get it to work is repeating a replace command. If you replace a character via 'r' + , then try to repeat this elsewhere with '.', nothing happens.
