At time of writing, Azure Pipelines is set to use JFrog CLI version 2.44.1 which is now quite old.

There have been many releases since 2.44.1 and this request is to upgrade to JFrog CLI version 2.49.1 (latest release at time of writing) so we can make use of the changes that have been released.

By upgrading to 2.49.1, we will no longer have to force all of our Azure Pipelines to use a later version by using the JFROG_CLI_PIPELINE_REQUESTED_VERSION_AZURE environment variable as a workaround:

variables:
  JFROG_CLI_PIPELINE_REQUESTED_VERSION_AZURE: 2.49.1
