To maintain security and network isolation, loopback connections for IPC are blocked by default for packaged applications. You can enable loopback connections among trusted packaged application using capabilities and manifest properties.
All packaged applications participating in loopback connections will need to declare the privateNetworkClientServer capability in their package manifests.
I think I am suffering from this problem, I did everything but I was unable to get my nukkitx/pocketmine server to show up on my friends list, I am currently setting up the linux server right now so my server can show on my friends list.
edit: I did set up a linux server and was able to show my server on Friends tab so I think probably due to this problem.
I am also having this problem. I am on windows 10. Ran the command prompt in administrator mode and I am trying to connect to my own server running on localhost (same machine as running phantom). I have developer mode on for what its worth.
Furthermore, if I set my minecraft localhost server port to something other than 19132 (in this case 19150). I get pong responses in the console but still nothing shows in my friends tab.
