I am running Win11 ARM on a Macbook Air M3 processor via Parallels 19.3.0. I downloaded the installer and .bat file for the 2022 Developer version, and the install (as administrator) runs most of the way through, but then quits unexpectedly and does not actually complete the installation of the DB engine.

Seems that one can get the the Express edition to install successfully, but not the Developer edition. Thank you for your work at least getting one of the editions to install and run.

For me the developer version worked fine after I made sure SQL Server had access to the folder where I was trying to create a new database.
I even found I could install the latest cumulative update afterwards which I was sort of expecting to fail.
I'm running it on Windows Server 2025 on a Qualcomm ARM64 Oryon CPU.
