Self signed certificate in chain

Hi!
Whenever I try to run an http request I get the self-signed certificate in chain error.
I assume it's because I try to run Kit in my work Mac which is always in a VPN or something along those lines.

Any idea how I can solve this?

@JanTrichter Can you try opening Kit.app from the terminal like this?

/Applications/Kit.app --ignore-certificate-errors

@cgardner Can you look at your main.log and see what it's trying to do right before the error throws?

It looks like it's trying to install node.

I do have node 19.6.1 installed though.

@cgardner Nice! Thanks to your log, I realized it was the download lib I was using to download node that required a {rejectUnauthorized: false };. I'd always assumed it was a configuration error in my build/Electron/etc. Phew! 😅
