Browser integration - some dynamic name/password dialogs do not work (atlassian) #1210
Comments
It is even worse: right clicking the password field to fill the password only won't fill in the password. I also have the issue on https://dhp.kamp.de/. There filling in the password via the password only option works. |
@shoeper I'll see what I can do with the Atlassian site. That other site is pretty hard to test without an account. |
@shoeper For now the best workaround for Atlassian is to change your entry URL to |
Closing this as Atlassian site doesn't even ask a password anymore, but expects user to check the email for a login link. |
It asks for a password.
|
@shoeper How do I get it to ask one? |
At least for me it asks for my password after typing in my email. |
I also have to enter a password (after entering the username and pressing continue), and then the OTP from my authenticator app. No code from email is requested. Password field is not detected. |
Ok. Let's reopen this. I gotta try to get the password field visible. |
@varjolintu you may have already discovered this but in case it helps to get the password field visible, you might need to create an account with Atlassian first, and then try and login with any of the apps directly, like Trello for instance at trello.com/login. Then when you enter your email, it will recognize it from Atlassian and change to "Login with Atlassian" which gets rid of the password field, when you click that button it takes you to the id.atlassian.com login and should show the password field. Hope this helps! |
Btw, tested this again using Trello's sign-in site, and everything worked normally. I could enter my Atlassian password and the email address was already pre-filled. |
Should I continue the https://id.atlassian.com/login? thread here, or in the #1358 issue? Username-only is recognized, but then when password appears - there is nothing. |
@stdedos Here, because this is a dedicated issue. |
This issue is still a problem for me, any updates? |
Overview
Some websites do not properly enter single-form name to single-form password credentials when passed through to the browser extension.
Steps to Reproduce
Expected Behavior
Username autofills, clicking "Continue" will autofill the password field
Actual Behavior
Username autofills, password does not.
Context
I've tried adding https://id.atlassian.com/* to the Site Preferences along with "Username-only Detection", nothing changes
