I have tried installing wok/kimchi on Ubuntu 20 and I do get the wok webpage opening but like so many other reported cases the "Virtualization" tab is missing, Hardware virtualization is turned/enabled on (HP DL380) via the bios processor vt settings so that is not the problem.
I tried the debugging tip in the troubleshooting section but it really did not help me as it hung on ENGINE eaiting for child thread to terminate....
And on another time there were no errors being reported so it was not really helpful.
Now I also see different instructions which only adds to the confusion: Though I followed this particular set (https://github.com/kimchi-project/kimchi) which as I said WOK works but getting the virtualization is the issue.
I then tried this one (https://github.com/kimchi-project/kimchi/releases/tag/3.0.0) but this one is more confusing as it is too scanty (with no real step by step) as it does not indicate if you have to change to any particular directory to issue specific commands as with Ubuntu it helps when you know which folders you need to be in when issuing commands.
If someone could assist in providing some clear Step by Step instructions of how to get version 3 running on Ubuntu that would be helpful.
Failing that may I ask is version 2.5 still available on github and do the install instructions still work for that as I have in the past installed that trouble free so if I cant get version 3 working then I could fall back on that. Kimchi (from using 2m5) is a wonderful product it is just sad that it has not obtained support enough to get it easy to install. Why not open it up for donations as maybe that may help get the development of it easier.
I hope some one can point me in the right direction to get version 3 installed.
Thanks
Fuquan
