The name filter list should be split into two seperate filter options for tags:
Filter 1: Tag Category (select list)
Filter 2: Tag (select list like Tags on Applications)

No. The recent changes were focused on improving the current design (one filter for both categories and tags).
IMHO we should wait to see if the improvements were sufficient and then re-evaluate if design change is needed.
