Displaying validation errors in template? (composition api)

When I create the form using

const { values, errors, defineField, handleSubmit } = useForm({ ... })

I can display the error message for a field as expected:

<div>{{ form.errors.name }}</div>

However I dislike that form so I would like to do

const form = useForm({ ... })

Then form.errors contains the error object with the expected keys but this only returns an empty value:

<div>{{ form.errors.value.name }}</div>

Probably this is just some basic vuejs mechanism I don't understand but it would be nice to figure this out :-)
