Description

Program refuses to obey setting to retain proportion when scaling image,
specifically, if I enter manually one of the values. This procedure works on my other older PC
running older but same OS, but not working here on newer PC.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. ... Load an image and select SCALE tool.
  2. ... Set tool via 3-dots-menu to retain proportions when entering manual value (or even ALWAYS do not work).
  3. ... Enter a value in a box, hit enter, and see the image scale on only one axis, even though the settings are still checked.

System

  • Device: Desktop <2 yrs old
  • OS: Linux Mint 20.3
  • Desktop environment: GTK+ mostly. Is that what you meant?
  • Package format: .DEB Ubuntu native package from the Ubuntu/Mint distribution repository.
  • App version: Drawing 1.0.2

By the way, I like this program as a very quick simple alternative to the greatness but bulk of GimP
when I need a quick scale or crop. Nice job. Hope this report helps.
