Request: change background color

Hello! And thank you for the amazing plugin.

I use bitbar to track support tickets in my system. When I have a ticket pop up, I have bitbar display text in red to attract my attention.

I would prefer to have the bitbar become completely red, so it would be more visible and attract my attention immediately. Is it possible to request a feature, which would allow the control the background color?
