As reported in #34, the device starts heavy throttling of performance to keep the device temperature under 55°C. For graphic-intensive games this throttling is often ineffective, so it will limit the device performance to absolute minimum. This causes various issues, such as audio problems or freezes in the games because everything gets slower and slower.

I thought it might be related to intel_pstate, and tried acpi_cpufreq plus interactive instead, but to be honest this was much worse. It would ramp up to the maximum CPU frequency much quicker. All in all, intel_pstate seemed to adapt much better to the CPU load.
Nothing planned here right now. The tablet gets warm during normal usage, and heats up quickly when playing games, but I'm not sure how to avoid this, without sacrificing performance.
