When the tray icon plugin is enabled border lines are not drawn in the theme for rhythmbox only, making the application difficult to read easily. I have tried this with several themes and each time enabling the tray icon breaks the theme. To reset the theme I have to disable the plugin and restart rhythmbox.

Using Rhythmbox 2.97 on Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10.

Hi, could you post a screenshot(s)? How are you applying themes to Rhythmbox?

Hmm? Not sure what you mean by applying themes to Rhythmbox. The themes are applied to my whole system. But only Rhythmbox doesn't display correctly when this plugin is enabled. The change is instantaneous when I enable this plugin.

I thought I recognised this - you raised this Q&A on Ask Ubuntu

Yes. I just figured out that it was this plugin causing the problem. I answered my question on Ask Ubuntu.
