Overriding 60 minutes time limit #100
Comments
I agree this would be a very useful feature! |
Same here, this feature would solve a real headache for some of my videos. I noticed there's a comment about overriding this limit here: But I don't know how to do this for the chrome extension |
+1 to this! It's the only important missing feature for this great tool! |
If I'm not mistaken, @muaz-khan , an upstream merge has been committed which should be able to come downstream. As well as as number of other fixes to RecordRTC. As you are the publisher for the Chrome Extension, would it be possible to rebuild, and update the published extension in the webstore? It's a wonderful extension that I use daily. While I could use a developmental version of it, I would strongly prefer to just have an updated version of it in the "store". (Failing that, if you are unable to maintain it, let me know, and I'll take over. Alternatively, let me know, and I'll submit another! Although this is of course the least preferred option!) |
Hi Muaz,
Appreciate your work on this extension Kudos !!. Can the settings tab provide an option to override the time-limit of 60 minutes ? I agree the intention would be on the performance. But If I need a cast that runs for more than an hour, It is worth a feature where I can bump the memory consumption of Chrome browser to override the time-limit.
