Emails need to be sent out a lot, by almost all academic entities in the college (faculty, academic section, TNP, etc.) and also sometimes clubs. Since we will unify the details of every student of the college, we can and will provide the facility to email groups of students.
This will be implemented slightly differently for clubs and official entities.
For official entities, the website will send an email to all the recipients by spoofing that faculty's email. (unsure if this is possible but it will at least retain some credibility)
For clubs, either the email will be sent by a custom email address for our club, or it will spoof the email of the faculty incharge. The reason for spoofing here is also that no student should be able to see all of the emails they're emailing to, since this adds the risk of them taking those emails out of the system and mailing directly which we cannot monitor.
Further implementation details will be ironed out once this is being worked on.
