Hide unstarred stars not working on first row

What is the problem? Describe completely:

When you choose to hide unstarred stars it does not work on the first row - see 
attach

Minimalist version   - 0.6.8
Relevant core module -
Chrome version       - 29.0.1547.66
Operating System     - Win 7
Language             - English
