Reference: #196 (comment)
Objective is to have a new PR of the front-end application which implements this kind of user experience

Current front-end application prototype, connected to the new OTP back-end: https://otp-react-redux.opendatahub.testingmachine.eu

@ch-routerank @nl-routerank can you please give me an update on the status of implementation?

Hello @rcavaliere we made only limited progress on this point as it requires the new pelias/geocoder dataset. Ee've provided the first version of the pelias integration of OTP stops and Datahub POI and activities in #216 (the integration of the custom data into pelias, especially the touristic information, took a bit longer than expected). My colleague will now resume his work on the initial UI changes.

@ch-routerank @nl-routerank Focus for next sprint up to 13.12:

  • implement the routing UX as in mobility.meran.eu

Image

  • improve the map layers UX implementation (no tooltip anymore, but visualization on the side of application, to be jointly defined together)
