Discussion around prioritization (up/down voting) proposals. @pcsmgnt suggested proposals should be open to all levels.

Discussion around time limit (suggestion not to have defined time limits, but to have 'normative' times instead).
Discussion of having a member of the Oversight group
Motion to Approve Exploratory / Working Group Process.
Discussion of voting process: green check reaction vs red "X" in Zoom (as opposed to raised hand reaction or no reaction as positive vote).
Good discussion around the language for members nominating for Officer positions: "Any member may self-nominate, or nominate another individual for any Officer position during a designated nomination period, which shall be no less than two weeks." vs "Any member may nominate any member individual..." or "Any member representative may..." or other variations, since the language might be misconstrued to be a company vs individual being nominated.

Motion to approve charter to establish working group. Approved. (Approval also needed during the APAC call later today).

Yu Yuan/IEEE commented: "A quick update from IEEE: this morning, just minutes ago, IEEE Standards Association Standards Board approved the name and scope of the IEEE Metaverse Standards Committee, which is probably the first TC-level committee explicitly named after "metaverse" among major SDOs."
