Hi. Sorry for belated reply. I'm not an expert on the OSTree images produced by osbuild-composer, but AFAIK the container image just automatically serves the OSTree commit via HTTP when started. So it is probably just a different way of shipping the OSTree commit, which is easier to consume out of the box. @achilleas-k may have more insight, although it may be already too late for your needs as your question is from June... |

I am working on adding OSTree repository management to Pulp (https://pulpproject.org). Pulp users mirror content from the internet or they upload content that they create.
I have limited experience with OSTree repositories. I have used osbuild in Fedora to build a Fedora IoT archive with a commit in it. So I was imagining that our users would do something similar and upload that archive into Pulp. Now I have learned that osbuild can produce containers also. So which format should we focus on for uploading OSTree content to Pulp?
