Integrate OSM Teams #276

Wow, amazing to hear the great news about OSM Teams 2.0. Can we schedule a meeting and start discussing what features we want to see? |

In the meantime we can start brainstorming here. There can be an assignments page where there would be different groups/classrooms. These groups could be able to have an administrator/teacher, who would be able to do administrative tasks, add/remove assignments, grade, post comments, etc. Ideally the assignments would connect to the tasks on the TeachOSM Tasking manager. |

I'm sorry -- I've tried unsubscribing from this thread multiple times. Now
when I click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email message, I go to a
Github page that says I've been unsubscribed from this thread. Yet I
continue to receive messages. Can anyone help?

@geomantic @d3netxer we could definitely start by demoing and onboarding some of the TeachOSM staff to creating an organization on Teams. That would give you an API to access and play around with as well. If you'd like to try it out, you could also try our sandbox at https://dev.mapping.team |

Yes, thanks! I've attempted to unsubscribe by clicking there. It takes me
to GitHub, where I enter my credentials to unsubscribe. But then I keep
getting these messages. When I log into GitHub again, I see a message
saying I have been unsubscribed from this thread. Yet I continue to receive
messages.
I'll keep trying -- it's not a big deal, just trying to clean up my inbox.

At SOTMUS 2023, we presented https://mapping.team, OSM Teams v2.0. It allows community managers to organize their mappers into teams, and then integrate those teams into various applications without having to enter a team multiple times. We're currently integrating with the tasking manager hotosm/tasking-manager#5575 and OSMCha in the near future.
After talking with @geomantic and @quincylvania, we think it would be great to bring in TeachOSM to the OSM Teams platform in some way. This could be by integrating into the TeachOSM sandbox, or possibly through a teachosm.org "grading website" for teams of mappers.
Let us know how we could help make this happen!
