Consider submitting rustybgp to memorysafety.org #245
Comments
Interesting, how to submit? |
@fujita @XChikuX I don't know much about the process, but looking around that website, the feeling I get is it is less a case of "submitting" and more a case of "finding a sponsor". Basically it smells of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it". Look at, for example, the workplan for the NTP project. Perhaps one way to (try to) get a foot in the door would be via nlnet labs , even if nothing comes of a "submission" to memorysafety, you might at least get a bit of funding ? |
Maybe you can start with Hey memorysafety.org/prossimo here is a project you might be interested in because it deals with one of the core protocols of the internet. Here is what rustybgp has already accomplished already with help from NTTLabs. Here are some of the things we can further accomplish if we get some more funding from companies which might have similar interests in securing BGP. |
The problem with that @vg is I'm sure memorysafety receive hundreds of those style of emails every month |
It might be a good idea to submit rustybgp to the https://www.memorysafety.org project by ISRG, the parent non-profit of Let's Encrypt. And maybe NTT Labs can sponsor the development of this project, which they seem to be doing anyway.
