There's a pretty hard limit on how far you can run CCTV and then you have to rely on wireless transmitters which may or may not be reliable or encrypted. Being able to setup another cabinet and have multiple surveillance systems work together on a VLAN / with IPSEC would be nice. From what I've read DC can carry up to about 1,000ft but like everything maybe take that with a grain of salt.
