ePUB fails to validate, error on Google Play Books

using EpubCheck I got several pages of error messages for freeculture.nb.epub, far too many to repeat here.

Could this be why the epub version seems to become rejected by Google Play Books when I try to import it? I hope you could help troubleshoot this issue, as PDF make for less enjoyable reading IMO.

I know. I've reported this as a bug on

No idea if that is the cause, nor how to try to fix it. I've spent the
time I had available fixing the PDF and the printed version, and have
not had time for the ePub version. The ePub work for me with calibre,
that is all I can say about its quality. :)
