It'd be cool to support vertical centering of the notification image!

This was attempted as part of #78 (specifically commits 6859dfc^...977aef3), but was ultimately abandoned, as there were multiple bugs with the implementation.

I'm sure this is still something that would interest people still, so I wanna open a new issue for it. Most of the bugs were described here: #78 (comment)
