How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

Fresh

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):

Issue/Bug Description:

Select Wayland on login > HARD freeze

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

Use NVIDIA ONLY > switch to Wayland > total freeze

Expected behavior:

Boot to desktop

Other Notes:

Hybrid Intel + nV laptop

Thank you for trying the beta. The version of the NVIDIA driver currently being shipped by Pop!_OS does not support Wayland in GNOME to my knowledge.
