How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

Issue/Bug Description:
Pop os connects to open and wpa access points, but unable to connect to 802.1x access points. Settings just says connecting, then asks me for my username and password a second time, then stops trying to connect.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Attempt to connect to 802.1x network.
Expected behavior:
Connect successfully to the network.
Other Notes:
I am using an Intel NIC for Wi-Fi
