License #103
Comments
Technically, without an explicit license, this is "All rights reserved". This was linked on the psptoolchain's ps2dev.org page that existed several years ago. It's the only legal document I can find in relation to the project It's owned, copyrighted, and (as far as I can tell) maintained by @ooPo. Maybe they can shine some light on the subject and update the repo with an explicit license. Until then, this is technically proprietary software. |
I wouldn't say I directly maintain it anymore but I was the original author. The intent at the time was that this would be free for anyone to use/extend/copy and didn't need an explicit license. I have no issue without making it explicit now however I'd like to hear input from the more recent maintainers before doing so - they should also have a say. Sorry for taking so long to respond as I didn't see this until @PrimordialHelios tagged me directly. |
Awesome! Unfortunately, no explicit license leaves some people uneasy, so something explicit would definitely be for the best :) |
There's a pull request for this: #106 |
Awesome, thanks a bunch :) |
