we should move the favicon and fonts to cdn.

I will see what we do for quran.com, any tips that might help me with this are welcomed. For example, what is the cdn end point for images, is the mapping in place?

i can upload the files to the cdn for you - just tell me which ones and i'll give you a url

Just to revive this discussion, the files in the static folder are making the repo quite heavy and slow when cloning. I'd like to rewrite the git history by removing all traces of the static files after they've been moved to a cdn.
