produces "unknown directive" message in console.

you may simply ignore it since goanna3 doesn't have it implemented. see also: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1139297

Of course, the message itself is not a problem.
Some sites that have recently migrated to https do not work as expected.
Including Ajax requests over http, on https sites.
It is sad.
I understand that 50% of the problem is the fault of the site developers...
