Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches

  • 350 degrees
  • baking sheet
  • Serves: 12
  • Cook Time: 15 to 20 min.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup spicy mustard
  • 3 - 4 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 3 tablespoons grated onions
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish mayonnaise
  • dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 soft - sliced in half hamburger buns
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 8 oz. sliced provolone cheese
  • 8 oz. American cheese

Directions

Mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, poppy seeds, onions, horseradish mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce. Taste the dressing and adjust the ingredients however you wish. To assemble, spread the dressing on the top and bottom buns. On the bottom bun, lay on some provolone, roast beef and American cheese and place the top bun on top. Repeat with the next sandwich. Wrap each sandwich in a foil square, and either bake right away or keep in the refrigerator. To bake, put sandwiches on a baking sheet in the oven until buns are slightly crusty and cheese is melted, 15 to 20 min.
