Hey guys, this sounds like a great idea!! How far along are you with the front-end? I am building a web app for my lab that basically wraps pubmed, displays articles in a nice format, tracks specific journals that you specify and has a quick add feature that allows you to add journals to your database on the fly. If you haven't started with the front end, it might be a good starting point. Here's the repo, its still a work in progress but the 'pubmed' state is almost finished:

Hi Andy, thanks for your comments! Your app looks really nice (screenshot below for others - hope that's OK) and is further along than we've got.

We're working on Science Fair over at https://github.com/codeforscience/sciencefair and at this moment it looks like this...

I'll dig around in your code to see if there are parts we can reuse :). And of course your feedback, input and participation is welcome on Science Fair.

That looks great as well! You are welcome to use anything you find in there. The refactor is still in progress :)

I'd love to get involved with Science Fair, so keep me in the loop as things develop!
