To lead, in conjunction with the chairman and advisory panel to formulate organisational strategies and agenda.

To lead and oversee the implementation of the organisation’s long and short term plans in accordance with its strategy.

To ensure the organisation is appropriately organized and staffed and to have the authority to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy.

To ensure that expenditures of the organisation are within the authorized annual budget of the organisation.

To ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place with the help of operations and communications team.

To act as the liaison between the chairman and the staff.

To ensure that the Chairman is properly informed and that sufficient information is provided to take appropriate judgments.

To call meetings when appropriate.

In concert with the Chairman, to determine the date, time and location of the annual meeting of the foundation.

To abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the organisation’s standards and policies.

To ensure discipline and ethics are maintained within the organisation.

Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the firm’s mission and strategic vision.

Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.

Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.

Work with the firm’s executive management to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the firm.

Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the foundation.

Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.

Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.

Train the finance department and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.

Work with the Chairman and CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national level, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.

Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.

Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the executive team on programmatic design and implementation matters.

Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits.

Provide the COO with an operating budget. Work with the COO to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support.

Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.

Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.

Attend all Subcommittee meetings; including being the lead staff on the Finance Committee.

Monitor banking activities of the organization.

Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.

Serve as one of the trustees and oversee administration and financial reporting of the organization’s Savings Plan.

Record meeting minutes and handle any documentation regarding the Sustainable Education Foundation.

Schedule appointments/ sending appointment mails and letters.
-
Arranaging meetings with the partners of Sustainable Education Foundation.

Maintain scheduling and event calendars.

Coordinate conferences and meetings.

Establish work procedures and schedules, and keep track of the daily work of staff.

Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company format policies are followed, and recommend revisions.

Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters.

Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors.

Communicate with the higher management to prepare a strategy for operations to run efficiently and effectively.

Assist in the development of long term plans to achieve the goals and objectives which are already set.

Evaluate the performance of the operations of both internal and external activities of the foundation.

Maintain and ensure the continuation of regular operations of the foundation (for e.g. Facebook Live Sessions).

Initiate and organize workshops, guest talks and sessions in accordance with the year plan.

Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

Plans concept by studying information and materials.

Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.

Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.

Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
