First Draft

Few pointers to consider

• Need logo in svg format
• Color scheme experimental
• Copy needs improvement
• Content for other pages needed
• Need working email capture endpoint
• Need footer social media links

Great, thank you for getting this started @tridip1931! Some thoughts:

• the theme overall looks kind of big - big type, and divs. can we tone this down?
• should we use a cover picture in the hero section instead of the background colour header and white section? @rasagy
• we can hide the cfp section for now
• no need of the academic track section - we don't have one for this conference.
• can also skip the subscribe for updates section
