Expected Behavior

Pixie Modules should synchronize

Current Behavior

We get a segmentation fault when going through the synchronize routine.

Possible Solution (optional)

This seems to be a problem with pval not being initialized properly. Commenting out the if(!pval) statement causes the error to go away.

Acceptance Criteria

  • pval should be handled properly if the value hasn't been initialized yet.
  • Unittests added to cover failure modes.
