Hi, I'm Alex, a digital artist based in Brighton, UK.

As part of my artistic practice, I have created several large software applications that I have released free and open-source because I believe that artists around the world should have access to affordable cutting edge creative tools

I know how financially challenging being a self employed artist can be. Also, I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries where artists don't have the same level of economy that I am used to in the UK. Software that costs hundreds of pounds is out of the reach of many.

While I have developed many artworks using the software I have created, and been paid for that work, it doesn't begin to cover the time I have invested in these projects.
