I am Matthew Leibowitz, just the average developer from South Africa who loves writing code, sharing code, reading code and talking about code. It may seem like I am obsessed and just doing one thing, but writing code can change the world and helping others to write code can change their world.

Right now, I am working at Microsoft doing so many cool things - and I can talk about it because it is all open source. My main tasks now are improving and imagining .NET MAUI and how it can become the greatest app development framework. I also have a pet project SkiaSharp that I work on even when I have other priorities (don't tell the boss). And besides that, just look at my profile and all the repos. I want to do everything and improve anything.

You may wonder why I have sponsorship enabled... It is because it is always cool to get extra money. I am going to be honest here, I don't need any more really. But it is still nice to have extra come in. If you really, really want to, then I will gladly take your sponsorship and use it to sponsor other developers. Maybe this will be on GitHub or in the form of financial support of other developers in various universities or school programs. Maybe I'll double it and give it to the next guy.
