Dark scrollbars and sliders

will there be dark / themed scrollbars and sliders in the future?

Possibly, but it's very difficult, as support for it is not universal. In the newest desktop build the scrollbars for the notes and tags panels at least should hide automatically.

The gray/grey scrollbars are still visible for me on all of the dark themes. Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing @alandooz?

Hi @JaspalSuri , you're right! I tested it with the cursor not hovering the scrollbar and it matches the theme's color, but when hovering is another story, matching the screenshot on this issue :/

@alandooz You're seeing those scrollbars on the Standard Notes Desktop App on Mac? IIRC the scrollbars on Mac should be using the system scrollbars you typically see throughout your OS.

Would it be possible for you to record a short video of this behavior?

Maybe it is because I'm using the dark theme? Although I changed to light theme and I'm seeing the same.

In my experience (Windows) this is fixed. If Midnight is on, scrollbars are dark everywhere,

Currently only the macOS desktop app appears to be affected. Hopefully we'll find a fix in the future or it will be coincidentally resolved with v4 of the apps.
