Both the web archiving seed accessioning workflow and the web archives viewer in sul-embed are tied to using specific labels and values in the MODS. This means that they are vulnerable to breaking if the MODS is incorrect.

For example, using "Archived site" instead of "Archived website" in the MODS will result in an error showing in sul-embed. If the seed URL were stored in a field that is edited less frequently, for example in the identityMetadata or its future Cocina replacement field, it would be less vulnerable to accidental error.

This ticket is a stub for the future when web archives work is on the development schedule, at which point more detail can be added. There will have to be a related issue for changing sul-embed to look for the URL in a different field if we change it.
