There is quite some jitter in the movement of the ball. This is probably due to a bug in JavaFX 8, as the movement is smooth when running on JavaFX 7. This has been reported in JavaFX JIRA.

Checkout the commit "Modified to use Java 7." on the iOS branch and run it on JDK 7 to see what the game should perform like.
