Update shunit2 to current version #17

We're using an out of date version of shunit2 for the unit tests. Update to current from https://github.com/kward/shunit2 and fix any tests that break as a result. You'll need to update at least lib/shunit2 and lib/versions, and may need to add lib/shflags.

You'll need to update tests/test_runner from shunit2 as well.
