Using this bluebuild template, layered firefox is unable to decode h264 video. When using webRTC video chat it reports that a plugin is missing. When looking at firefox extensions, the following is displayed:
The recommended solution to this problem does not work as it relies on mozilla-openh264, which is not available in negativo17.
What did you expect to happen?
Generally nvidia/hardware decoding works on bluefin-aurora.
can confirm this. vp9 and av1 decoding works but not avc1/h264. not sure of the codecs used by instagram either but that too is not hw decoded. this is on intel integrated arc graphics (meteor lake). This is in the flatpak btw
you should enable /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-cisco-openh264.repo (included by default) and layer mozilla-openh264, this should not be a problem using flatpak (I think?)
